West Nile Virus Information

WEST NILE VIRUS is spread through the bite of a mosquito. Anyone
can get sick from the West Nile Virus, but the risk of serious illness increases with age.
Symptoms can include; headaches, fever, sore neck, vomiting, muscle weakness and
blurred vision.

Invasive Species – Tench

In November 2018 reports have been made of this species in the Bay of Quinte near Belleville. Tench are an invasive fish native to Europe and western Asia

Boil Water Reminder

As a reminder, in February 2008 Health Canada recommended the Tyendinaga Mohawk Council place a precautionary boil water advisory on all the ground water fed wells in the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
