About us
Our program provides services to families that reside on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory, being mindful of culture and language when developing programming.
Family Health and Child Development services are open to everyone, with a target group of  children ages 0-6.

We are funded by Health Canada, Ministry of Children & Youth Services, and Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians

Programs & Services

Home Visiting Services

Our goal during a home visit is to provide parents, caregivers, and their families with support, and information to help children get a healthy start in life. During a home visit we also focus on the developmental tasks of children ages 0-6. Family Health and Child Development is a voluntary program available to families with children that reside in Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory. Clients must receive a minimum of 1 home visit per month.
At a home visit these are the things we offer:
*assistance with birth plans
*taking care of yourself and your baby before and after your baby arrives
*what to expect as your child grows and develops, and fun ways to help your child’s development
*provide development screening tools
*bonding with your child
*any issues you may have and providing you with the supports you will need
*healthy eating habits for you and your family
*helping with sibling rivalry
