The Transfer Depot has been re-opened to the community. The hours of operation are Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays 8:30am – 4:30pm. Social distancing must be maintained. Community members are responsible for disposing their refuse in the appropriate areas at this time. The Transfer Depot Attendant is on hand to direct you to the appropriate areas.
PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT REGULAR HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE OR CONSTRUCTION WASTE AT THE TRANSFER DEPOT. The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte have waived the Bag Tag requirement (for up to 3 bags). Please dispose of your regular household waste at your curbside on the designated day.
PLEASE ALSO NOTE: Large green bins have been placed at the gate for fish remains during the spring spearing harvest. Please do not dispose of any other type of refuse in these bins i.e. plastic bags, gloves, regular household waste. Our service provider will not collect the remains if it is mixed with other waste, such as, plastic bags. In order for us to continue to provide this service, we ask that this be respected.
