Digital maps provide a unique lens for understanding the relationship between the past, present and future. In partnership with the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte – Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka – Apple has co-developed a digital basemap layer representing both the physical and political world of Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory that aims to explore the stories of our community and the relationship between people and the land. Join us for this community engagement session as the Apple team shares the goals of the Apple maps Project, and provides an opportunity to discuss the design, interactive features and decisions /challenges / opportunities for ongoing collaboration.

Apple will have a booth set up at the Mohawk Fair this Friday, September 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.. Swing by ahead of the Derby – which starts at 7 p.m. – to learn about this new and exciting project.
