The federal government announced Tuesday that Canada will mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II with a National Day of Mourning on September 19, 2022, which coincides with the day of her funeral.
The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte will be observing this federal holiday and our offices will be closed.
Please note that this means a change in the waste collection schedule for the week of September 19. East End collection will take place Tuesday September 20 with West End collection taking place Wednesday September 21. The recycle schedule will remain the same.
