there will be a Full Mainline Night Closure of Highway 49 at the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge from 9:00 PM on Thursday, August 17, 2023 to 6:00 AM on Friday, August 18, 2023. In case of poor weather conditions during the upcoming weeks, the closure may be rescheduled to take place from 9 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023 to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023.
This closure is intended for the implementation of staging configuration for Segment A Stage 2 work, which will consist of relocating temporary concrete barriers, temporary energy attenuators, placing temporary pavement markings, and flipping traffic to the east side of the bridge.
During these time periods the highway will be closed, and no traffic will be permitted to pass over the bridge.
