As we are in the middle of peak turtle nesting season (May-August), you will see an increase in turtles out and about. Vehicles are one of the largest threats to these species at risk, so we ask that you please be extra vigilant while driving. If you see a turtle in the road and it is safe to do so, please move the turtle to the side of the road. If you notice a nesting turtle on the roadside, please report it so a nest protector can be placed on top to protect the eggs.
