A special meeting of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Council was held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. via Microsoft Teams video conferencing with the Tyendinaga COVID Response Team (TCRT) for an update on COVID-19.

Staff: David Souliere, CAO; Angela Maracle, Senior Director of Operations; Shelley Bowden, Executive Administrative Assistant; Susan Barberstock, Director of Community Wellbeing; Jason Brant, Chief, Tyendinaga Police Services; Lisa Maracle, Director of Community Services; Bryce McMurter, IT/Fibre; Tom Kring, Senior Housing Manager; Seizal Kapadia, Director of Finance; Scott Maracle, Fire Chief; Brittany Brant, Nurse in Charge; Kathleen Manderville, Director, Federal Schools for Indigenous Services Canada; Lorrie Maracle, Human Resources; Heather Green, Director of Education;

MOTION #1: Moved by Lynda Leween, seconded by Josh Hill that Kelly Maracle be the chair in the absence of Chief Maracle.
Brittany Brant provided an update on the COVID-19 stats.

Susan provided information regarding hosting the MBQ Summer Camps in-person starting July 12, 2021.

MOTION #2: Moved by Lynda Leween, seconded by Carl E. (Ted) Maracle to approve that the MBQ Summer Camps will be in-person starting July 12, 2021 for 7 weeks as recommended.

MOTION #3: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded by Lynda Leween that this meeting be adjourned. (1:21 p.m.)
