Background

We provide a safe and secure holistic healing experience through community minded practices that incorporate Indigenous knowledge and teachings to encourage a balanced, peaceful life free of abuse.

We, as a community shelter, affirm respect for our roles as Onkwehonwe women, men and children and uphold the principles of the centrality of the family within our society. Recognizing the existence of abuse, we accept the responsibility to help victims in times of crisis to provide; shelter, support and counselling during this period of transition.
