MAY 5, 2021
A meeting of the Tyendinaga Mohawk Council was held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers via Microsoft Team Conferencing.
Present: Chief R. Donald Maracle
Councilors: Carl E. (Ted) Maracle, Lynda Leween, Kelly Maracle and
Josh Hill joined at 10:00 a.m.
Staff: David Souliere, CAO; Angela Maracle, Senior Director of Operations; Shelley Bowden, Executive Administrative Assistant and Recording Secretary to Council;
Scott Maracle, Fire Chief, attended to discuss the EMS Agreement.
MOTION #1: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded by Carl E. (Ted) Maracle to approve Scott Maracle, Fire Chief draft a letter regarding the EMS Agreement.
Carried.
MOTION #2: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded Lynda Leween by that the Tyendinaga Mohawk Council Minutes of April 21, 2021 be approved.
Carried.
MOTION #3: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded by Lynda Leween that the Tyendinaga Mohawk Council Special Minutes of April 28, 2021 be approved.
Carried.
MOTION #4: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded by Josh Hill that the Tyendinaga Mohawk Council Special Minutes of May 4, 2021 be approved.
Carried.

MOTION #8: Moved by Josh Hill, seconded by Carl E. (Ted) Maracle to acknowledge the COVID-19 budget presentation and request a summary be completed.

MOTION #11: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded by Lynda Leween to approve Leween to approve the Indigenous Interprofessional Primary Health Care Team (IIPHCT), Risk Assessment Home Off Site Policy.

MOTION #12: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded by Lynda Leween to approve signing the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians (AIAI) Mental Health Addictions Funding Agreement.

MOTION #16: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded by Lynda Leween to approve the contract with Q&E Engineering in the amount of $49,140.00 to complete the design for the boat launch at the Ferry Lane.

MOTION #18: Moved by Kelly Maracle, seconded by Lynda Leween to request a report on how many MBQ mortgages have been transferred to BMO.
