Friday (Nov. 19) Health Canada approved the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty COVID-19 vaccine in children between the ages of 5 and 11. Ontario’s Ministry of Health has also given the green light to use the vaccine, meaning that as of Tuesday morning, the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte are able to book appointments for these clinics. To do so, please visit mbq-tmt.org. These clinics will be for children between the ages of 5 and 11 ONLY. Anyone 12+ must book through the adult clinic, which can also be found at mbq-tmt.org – just ensure you follow the prompts. Clinics for 5 to 11 year olds are scheduled for 2 to 7 p.m. on November 27, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the 29, 2 to 7 p.m. November 29 and from 1:30 to 7 p.m. on the 30. Clinics are also scheduled from 2 to 7 p.m. on December 1 and 2 as well as from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on December 4.
