Please be advised that the mohawks of the bay of quinte have been notified that Quinte Conservation will be conducting their annual wetland monitoring surveys on the Bay of Quinte and Lake Ontario. They will have boats and canoes on the Bay of Quinte to conduct their field work, which will provide information on the health of our wetlands and ecosystem! They will have an additional focus this year, working in collaboration with the Invasive Species Centre, to monitor for the invasive water soldier plant in order to get ahead of its unwanted spread.
