The Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte officially opened two beach volleyball courts at the Karonhiak’takie Sports Complex!
This project was conceptualized after a community survey was put out by the previous Recreation Committee, and identified some of the items the community felt was important for recreation within the community.
These two volleyball courts provides another amenity in addition to the recent splash pad that the community can enjoy as we continue to build on the success of these projects for the remaining items identified in the community survey.
This project was made possible through funding support from the Tyendinaga Community Development Fund.
