Applications are now being accepted for Sagonaska Place, an affordable rental development partnership between the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, Ketegaunseebee Garden River First Nation, Missanabie Cree First Nation and Summers & Co. Developments Inc..

The apartment building is located at 1 North front Street in Belleville, and there will be 20 affordable and 18 market units available to rent. Additional rent supplements are available for 10 other units as well.

Applications are being accepted from registered members of Ketegaunseebee Garden River First Nations, Missanabie Cree First Nation and the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte. This priority intake window will close on December 31, 2023. Applications will still be accepted after this date, however the intake will be expanded to other Indigenous and non-Indigenous applicants.

The application form is available at sagonaskaplace.com and completed forms can be submitted to rentals@sagonaskaplace.com.

Initial occupancy of the third floor could be as early as December 2023, with full occupancy in early 2024.
