Please see information below provided by the Ministry of Transportation regarding a speed reduction along Hihgway 49.
These changes would mean that Highway 49 would transition from an 80 kiilometer per hour zone, to a 60 kilometer per hour zone roughly from Speedway Gas Station (200 meters North of Lower Slash Road) to the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge.
